Sonya is a rare find. I first met her in 2018 before I was going on my first solo cruise. The hairdresser that I had set my appointment with never showed up to her own salon and I panicked. I did a quick Google search and found Sonya and called her. She was the sweetest, most professional, most sincere, beauty professional that I had ever had the honor of being in communication with. She gave me immediate instructions on how to get to her salon, did my hair, and made me feel confident ,happy , satisfied and secure for which I took that same attitude on to my first cruise and had the best time of my life. After that I didn't trust anyone else to do my hair with my true desire of style in mind . As well another woman couldn't have become a better friend and rock to rely on in one my hardest times. Starting October 2024, I had a mental health situation where i became manicly claustrophobic/ agoraphobic/ and experienced extreme anxiety attacks. Sonya experienced one of my attacks over the phone and agreed to come to my house to do my hair to make it easier for me. As well , while she was here and i was experiencing an attack , she took me for a stroll and talked and walked me through it. She is a genuine soul, truly talented in her craft and just wants to make good people feel their most beautiful, confident, and alive.
